How to Update Probe Models In CAPPS-DMIS

For CAPPS-DMIS:

  1. Close the CAPPS-DMIS software.

  2. Navigate to the Renishaw folder. The location should look like the following:

  1. Once inside the folder, you can organize the files by type. Then, look for RenishawProbeStuff3.csv.

NOTE: ONLY do this if you are replacing the CSV file. It is recommended to rename the existing file so it doesn’t get overwritten when you replace it with the new file.

  1. Paste in the new file/ files that was supplied. This may contain .CSV .SHD and .TXT files, or sometimes a combination of all.

  2. A message may pop up asking whether to replace or skip files. Click Replace the files in the destination.

  1. After completing this step, you can close this folder and restart CAPPS-DMIS. Verify that the probe models were updated correctly.
