How to build a Probe CAPPS V7
Select the probe icon
Select Define probe
3. Click on Create
Build your probe set up (shank, probe, and styli)
1. this will show you what you are currently building.
2. If you add a component by mistake you can remove last to remove and reselect the correct part.Fill out probe name.
If everything looks correct click Save/Close button.
File Save Dialog will pop up.
I recommend inserting the probe name. Then Click OK
9. IMPORTANT click on apply when this dialog pop up.
This drop down arrow will contain all the probes that you build. when switching back and forth between probes DON'T forget to click apply
